Get to know Adrienne Gledhill
Adrienne Gledhill CPA has hit the ground running since taking up the role of Director with MB+M on 1 July.
She brings her own set of skills to the role, complementing the existing Director Group.
Adrienne’s strengths lie in Business Tax and Business growth. Her focus is for our team to help our clients achieve their personal goals through growing their business or SMSF.
What makes Adrienne tick?
We sat down with both Vince and Adrienne to get to know them better. Today, we talk to Adrienne …
When did you start at MB+M, Adrienne?
I started at MB+M in 2007. Prior to that I worked for an Accounting firm in Cobram for 3 years while finishing my Bachelor of Commerce at Latrobe, Shepparton. I love working at MB+M. I’ve been given the opportunity to grow professionally and as a person as I progressed to a Team Leader and then Relationship Manager. And now the biggest leap – to Director! I’ve been blessed to have great mentors along the way.
It sounds like you love being a local girl?
I’m Numurkah born and bred, went to school in Numurkah and Nathalia and live in Numurkah. And … we’ve recently opened the MB+M Numurkah office!
Tell us about your family, Adrienne.
My amazing husband, Liam and two fun kids.
Lenny is in Grade 3 at St. Josephs, Numurkah and Harper is at Kinder. As you can see from the photo below, we love to travel. Looks like our next holiday will be a lot closer to home though!
I know Pink Ribbon is close to your heart. Can you tell me about that.
A local Numurkah lady I knew going through her breast cancer journey really touched me. I was on maternity leave with my first child, Lenny and decided I had time to start a Pink Ribbon event for Numurkah! Not sure what I was thinking, but naively co-opted my Mum, Bev Hutchins, for that first event and away we went.
Now we’ve got a great team on board and 9 years later we’ve raised more than $135,000! We hold it each Melbourne Cup weekend and I’m delighted that MB+M is a major sponsor of the event.
You also love sport …
Yes, our whole family does. The kids play footy, cricket, netball and ballet. I’m now the junior Cricket co-ordinator for Numurkah Cricket Club.
Netball was my thing until I had two knee constructions by the age of 28.
Now, I love to run with friends. I’ve been able to compete in four half marathons in Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Lenny has also started running Park Run in Numurkah with me when other sports don’t get in the way. The photo below is from the Mad Cow Mud Run that a whole bunch of us from MB+M ran. It was a blast but we were extremely grateful for the shower afterwards!
Thanks for talking to us, Adrienne. Lastly, tell me why you enjoy working at MB+M.
Apart from our quality clients, I love the great culture and belief system MB+M has – high integrity and ethically sound. Also, I’ve made a lot of great friends at MB+M. Where else would I want to work?
