Our New Operational Arrangements for Lockdown 2.0
Rebecca Woolstencroft, MB+M CEO, provides an update on the changes the firm has had to instigate as we all move into a period of tighter restrictions.
Apart from restrictions, I think an advantage of these times has been the opportunity to learn new skills. For instance, lots of people have taken up new hobbies or improved on old ones.
Maybe you’ve taught yourself how to make a face mask! I know some of the MB+M team has.
We realise how much of an inconvenience it has been and will continue to be for some time. It’s hard to learn new things, but we’ve been delighted how well our clients have adapted to help keep our community COVID safe.
New lockdown starting Thursday
As you know, Lockdown 2.0 starts this Thursday. In line with this, we are asking if you can help us out with the following.
Information delivery to MB+M
1. We strongly prefer all information in electronic form sent to MB+M.
Did you know: these days we don’t need as much information as we used to. Call your Accountant Adviser and they can let you know precisely the required documents.
You can upload documents via the MB+M App or the MB+M Portal. You could take a photo of your documents and send them through to us. Your Adviser is more than happy to talk you through these steps.
2. Plan B is to mail the documents to us.
3. And our last resort, for the time being, is to use the MB+M Drop Box. However, please call to arrange a time if using this option.
Unfortunately, as of Thursday, we will be unable to visit clients in person.
We are still very happy to have Zoom meetings or phone calls with you, at times that suit you.
Please look after yourselves well over this lockdown.
